So how does one get anyone from front gate to answer the phone/email? No one responds, office is closed, no listings. No website(just one page) however listings are taken for apartments on street...

There are many other tolerable and even enjoyable management companies in Brooklyn - look elsewhere. Worst rental experience I've ever had in NYC - and that includes 6 apartments/moved total....
