Freeport Commons is a big box retail center with Home Depot and Staples conveniently located on Sunrise Highway (with a traffic count of over 55,000 cars per day) in the village of Freeport, in Nassau County on the South Shore of Long Island. The property sits between the two major east/west thoroughfares of Sunrise Highway and Merrick Road along the commercial corridor home to a majority of the area's retailers. It is also conveniently located adjacent to the north/south Meadowbrook State Parkway allowing it to serve a wider audience.
