Flatlands Guidance Center

The Flatlands Guidance Center employs social workers who offer individual and group therapies to more than 15 clients. The center provides case management, parole and probation services and works in partnership with courts. The Flatlands Guidance Center is a part of the Catholic Charities Diocese of Brooklyn & Queens, which offers nursing, child care, housing and mental health services. The organization also provides nutritional, educational, recreational, food, transportation and counseling services. Catholic Charities Diocese of Brooklyn & Queens offers treatment for Alzheimer s disease and dementia, as well as conducts training and workshops. With one of its locations in Brooklyn, N.Y., the organization offers sports activities, including basketball, baseball, soccer, swimming and volleyball. The Flatlands Guidance Center employs forensic supervisors.
