Five Quad Volunteer Ambulance Service

Five Quad Volunteer Ambulance Service is a New York State certified ambulance agency operated by UAlbany students, proudly serving the University at Albany, as well as the Albany and Guilderland communities since 1973. They provide Basic Life Support 24/7 during the fall and spring semesters, responding to calls within a five-mile radius of UAlbany's Uptown Campus. With two ambulances and a team of dedicated volunteers, including CPR-certified attendants, emergency vehicle operators, and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Five Quad is well-equipped to handle emergencies and also offers standby crews for special events. They are largely funded by the Student Activity Fee and provide training courses such as CPR and Stop the Bleed to the campus community.Generated from the website
