First Presbyterian Church was the first faith community in Buffalo. Founded in 1812, it is often referred to as the Mother of All Churches. Even Teddy Roosevelt worshipped here! First might be historic, but it sure isn t stuffy. Home to a diverse congregation drawing from downtown Buffalo, as well as Niagara County, and even Ontario, Canada, people from different walks of life, ethnicities, and races can find a welcoming faith community.
