Fifth Avenue Committee

Fifth Avenue Committee (FAC) is a non-profit organization based in Brooklyn, NY, dedicated to creating an equitable New York City where all individuals can thrive in inclusive, healthy, and sustainable communities. Since 1978, FAC has been actively involved in building and renovating over 1,000 units of affordable housing for low- and moderate-income residents, while currently developing nearly 310 additional units.

Through organizing, advocacy, adult education, community services, workforce development, and affordable solar initiatives, FAC empowers residents to address critical issues such as displacement, unhealthy housing conditions, substandard wages, and lack of economic opportunities.
