Farrand Controls Division manufactures Inductosyn transducers that are used for accurate measurement of angular or linear position displacements. Inductosyn transducer applications include space satellites, submarine navigation systems, antenna pedestals, tracking mounts, telescopes, factory automation, robotics, machine tool control, cryogenic chambers and hard vacuum chambers. Farrand Controls Division offers products, such as rotary Inductosyn transducers and linear Inductosyn transducers in various sizes, angular pitches and several forms. In addition, it offers an array of accessories including analog-to-digital converters, preamplifiers, correlation logic assemblies and digital readout assemblies.
