Fairport Public Library provides access to educational, informational and recreational resources for the residents of the Fairport Central School District. It serves more than 40,000 residents. The library offers an automated circulation system, online catalog, electronic resources and interlibrary loan materials. Fairport Public Library supports the annual Greater Rochester Teen Book Festival. The library s database contains information magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias and reference books. It offers picture, chapter books and nonfiction books about animals, machines and magic tricks for children. Fairport Public Library has DVD s that includes foreign films, documentaries and children s' movies. It is a member of the Monroe County Library System.
