Fair Haven Beach State Park is one of the finest public lakefronts in New York. The park features more than 1500 feet of sand beach, including over 600 feet of guarded swim area. It offers fishing and boating opportunities in Lake Ontario. Fair Haven Beach State Park also provides activities, such as swimming, biking, hiking, picnicking and camping. It additionally offers opportunities to participate in snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and ice fishing activities. The park s campgrounds consist of nearly 45 electric sites and approximately 130 nonelectric sites. Fair Haven Beach State Park offers row and paddle boats, canoes and kayaks on a rental basis. In addition, the park features a ball field, hiking trail and camp store. It is a part of the New York State Office of Parks.

Bluff area - very crowded, small sites, right next to each other, no buffer, no privacy at all; smoke from campfires is toxic. The office moved me to Lakeside area, view of lake. non-electric site...
