Eugene S Krauss MD

Dr. Eugene Krauss is the Chairman of Orthopedic Surgery at Syosset Hospital, part of the Northwell Health System. Dr. Krauss specializes in Hip and Knee Replacement surgery and has over 30 years of experience in the field. He received is MD degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Krauss has also studied at some of the best trauma hospitals across Europe, in Italy, Switzerland, and France. He originally spent 12 years practicing as an aerospace engineer, and since switching over to Medicine, he has helped in the design and development of orthopedic equipment.
