Karl Schlobohm, M.D. is a radiologist specializing in Emergency Imaging andNeuroradiology. He is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Weill CornellMedicine and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the New York-PresbyterianHospital-Weill Cornell Campus.Dr. Schlobohm graduated from Cornell University where he earned his B.S. in2004. He then received his M.D. at Stony Brook University Medical School in2009.Following an internship in preliminary medicine at Albany Medical Center,Dr. Schlobohm trained as a resident in Radiology from 2010 to 2014 at theUniversity of Vermont Medical Center/Fletcher Allen Health Care. He thencompleted his fellowship in Neuroradiology from 2014 to 2015 at Boston MedicalCenter and completed a second year in Neuroradiology training at MassachusettsGeneral Hospital as an instructor in radiology and Clinical and ResearchFellow/Graduate Assistant from 2015 to 2016.After four subsequent years in clinical practice, Dr. Schlobohm joined thefaculty at Weill Cornell Medicine in July 2020 as an Assistant Attending ofRadiology. Clark Smith, MD, MPH, FAAPMR is an Associate Professor of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He specializes in treating patients with acute and chronic sports and spine injuries. Dr. Smith is board certified in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. He completed his undergraduate education at Duke University, received his M.D. and Masters of Public Health (M.P.H.) from Tulane University, underwent residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Emory University where he also served as Chief Resident, and completed a multidisciplinary pain medicine fellowship at Northwestern University and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Dr. Smith has a special interest in pain and sports medicine. He uses a multidisciplinary non-operative approach to treating acute and chronic sports and spine problems. Depending on the scope and severity of the problem, treatment options may include individualized therapy programs, medications, or non-operative interventional procedures targeted at a particular injury or problem. Procedures that Dr. Smith performs include: ultrasound and fluoroscopically guided joint injections, Platelet Rich Plasma (PrP), spine injections, epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, and many others. Mark Weidenbaum, MD, specializes in treating a broad range of spinal disorders in both adults and children, including spinal deformity, arthritis, trauma, tumors, instability, and degenerative conditions. His surgical procedures range from minimally invasive and microsurgical approaches to complex spinal reconstructions. Dr. Weidenbaum is active in basic science as well as in clinical research and has published numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is particularly interested in spinal deformity and degeneration and travels regularly to participate in scientific exchanges as well as in care for patients with challenging conditions. Dr. Weidenbaum also holds leadership roles in national and international spine surgery organizations.
