Every Person Influences Children, also known as EPIC, is a national nonprofit organization that provides programs and resources for parents, teachers and school administrators to help raise responsible and academically successful children. The organization provides an award-winning parenting program with a school-based character education curriculum and offers leadership training in several areas. Established in 1977, Every Person Influences Children s Pathways to Parenting program assists parents to develop parenting skills. Its Pathways to Character program promotes character education in the classroom and helps teachers to maximize parental involvement in the school. Additionally, the organization conducts scientific research and creates evaluation reports on various children issues. Every Person Influences Children maintains a location in Buffalo, N.Y.
