Founded in 1814, Emma Willard School is a boarding and day school for girl students in grades nine through 12. It offers classes in English, science, math, history and computer science. The school has a number of student clubs and organizations that offer classes in environmental awareness, and animal rights. It also organizes a variety of cultural activities, including music, dance and theatre. It provides opportunity for participation in various sports activities, including hockey, soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball, softball and swimming. Emma Willard School also offers summer residential programs. Its more than 130-acre campus in Troy, N.Y, includes an auditorium, dance studio, display gallery, media center, residence and dining halls, library and a chapel. The school s library holds more than 32,000 volumes of books, journals and magazines. It is a member of the National Coalition of Girls Schools and the New York State Association of Independent Schools.

i've been here for summer camp. It is an all girls summer camp and it's absolutely amazing. They have different electives that you can sign up for and you can request to be with different friends...

My mom went here and she really loved it! Beautiful campus to visit! Emma Willard is in a great location and so easy to access. I am glad to see the places where my mom used to utilize daily.
