Dr. Mishkin is a native New Yorker. She completed Medical School and a Public Health Master's degree in New Orleans at Tulane University, and moved back to New York to continue specialization training in psychiatry (at St. Luke's-Roosevelt) and then in psychosomatic medicine (at Montefiore). She then completed her MBEat the Montefiore-Einstein Center for Bioethics.She is the psychiatric liaison to the Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital.
