Edgar's Cafe originated on the former site of the Brennen Mansion located on 84th street between West End Ave and Broadway known as Edgar Allan Poe Street. Edgar Allen Poe resided there from March 1844 to August 1845 at which time he wrote and gave to American literature "The Raven".

I absolutely adore this place the atmosphere and staff are so amazing and attentive! I ordered the two egg breakfast sandwich with cheese and turkey bacon on a croissant...the eggs are so fresh...

I was a little let down by this cute cafe that always seems packed with regulars! It's sweet inside and I thought the Poe theme is adorable. Their menu feels a little random - great breakfast...

food is excellent and very reasonably priced, Not much ambiance but the staff and owner are very nice. The owner, Benny, has become a extremely nice gentleman and we frequently eat there.

Came here on a Thursday afternoon with my S.O and it wasn't packed at all. What we got, Hot Chocolate-5/5- it was creamy and not that sweet. I would get it again but not with that...
