History

For years, the Riverhead Farmers Market operated in downtown Riverhead with great success. In 2019, the nonprofit East End Food Institute took over management of the Riverhead Farmers Market, and in November 2021, moved the location to 139 Main Road in Riverhead to a more centralized location between the North and South Forks. The market now runs year-round, providing residents and day-trippers extended access to local food and the bounty of the East End.
