E 5959 Theater

59E59 Theaters is a nonprofit venue in New York City dedicated to showcasing the finest American and international Off-Broadway premieres. Since its establishment in 2004, the theater has supported both emerging and established not-for-profit theater companies by providing rent-free spaces, production marketing, and press support.

In a commitment to fostering creativity, 59E59 Theaters has recently eliminated weekly rental fees for producing companies, thanks to a generous $10 million gift from the Elysabeth Kleinhans Theatrical Foundation. With three performance spaces, the theater hosts around 30 productions annually, allowing artists to retain 80-85% of box office net sales.
