History

In 1923 Masi Brothers opened in Inwood with a Soda Shoppe. In 1928 Levitan Pharmacy opened across the street. In 1943 Dichter Drugs took over both and opened in 4943 Broadway About 1952 Dichter Drugs became Dichter Rexall Pharmacy About 1978 Schulman (204th St & Bway) took over Dichter but kept name In 1982, Manny Ramirez started working as a delivery boy (14 y/o!) In 2007 Manny Ramirez Purchases Dichter Pharmacy In 2011 a fire destroys the entire building, Dichter relocates 1 block away In 2013 Manny opens Dichter Pharmacy & Soda Shoppe just a few feet away from its ORIGINAL location!
