Denise Galan, RN, MSN, C- PNP is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for the Pediatric Urology practice within the Department of Urology for over 15 years. She strives to create a compassionate environment and maintains an informative dialogue for care with both parent and child.Denise earned her undergraduate degree in nursing at Adelphi University in 1994. After graduation, she started her career at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital working in the Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU, as well as in General Pediatrics. She returned to school at New York University to earn her Master's degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Shortly after graduating in 2003, she joined Dr. Dix P. Poppas in the Department of Pediatric Urology. She specializes in treating children with daytime incontinence, nighttime bedwetting, urinary frequency, urinary tract infections, penile adhesions, and Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia.

Phil in the History, Philosophy, and Sociology of Science, Medicine, and Technology at the University of Cambridge. Dr. Tsay returned to New Haven where she earned her M.D. at the Yale School of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital. She also has a M.P.H in Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She completed her fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital where she served as chief fellow during her last two years. Dr. Tsay is also passionate about medical education and the experience of trainees, having served as president of the Yale Resident and Fellow Senate and the chair of the Johns Hopkins Clinical Fellows Council.
