Dr. Michael Christensen, MD, is board-certified in Internal Medicine, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Christensen received his undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame, and his medical training at the University of Monterrey and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. After his internship, residency, and chief residency at Mount Sinai Hospital Services at Elmhurst City Hospital Queens, he stayed on in a faculty position in the Primary Care Residency Program. He was also appointed Medical Director of the hospital's diagnostic clinic, where care was provided to hundreds of patients daily from one of the most diverse communities in New York City. Dr. Christensen has been caring for his patients for more than 20 years. He received the "Excellence in Education Award" from the Undergraduate Medical Education and Primary Care at New York Medical College during his time of preceptorship. Dr. Christensen is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the American College of Physicians.

She is an expert in minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques and shoulder replacements. Her clinical focus is in the treatment of ligament, cartilage, meniscus and patellofemoral injuries of the knee; rotator cuff and labrum injuries and arthritis of the shoulder; injuries and overuse conditions of the elbow and labrum injuries and impingement of the hip. Dr. Belkin provides individualized state-of-the-art care to athletes of all descriptions. She has served as an assistant team physician for the New York Giants, an associate team physician for Iona College Athletics, and an orthopedic consultant to the New York Public School Athletic League. She also served as the head team physician at Pace University.
