Daniela Molena, MD - David H Koch Center For Cancer Care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

I am a board-certified hematologist-oncologist, and my clinical activity and research focus on stem cell transplantation for patients with blood disorders. I trained and worked for many years at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, where I was Deputy Chair of the Department of Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapies. In May 2010, I joined the faculty of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to lead the Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Service and served as Chief until February 2020.

I am a board-certified nephrologist, and I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic kidney diseases resulting from chemotherapy, radiation or surgery treatment for other cancers. In addition I evaluate and treat patients with pre-existing renal diseases or hypertension who require cancer treatment.

I am a board-certified head and neck surgeon and health-services researcher. My colleagues at Memorial Sloan Kettering and I practice a team approach and are focused on achieving excellent results for our patients by helping them choose the best techniques and treatments for their individual circumstances and needs.
