Dr. Daniel G. Nicastri, a former Commander in the U.S. Navy and decorated military veteran, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. With expertise in minimally invasive lung and esophageal surgery, thoracic trauma, and robotic surgery, Dr. Nicastri has published extensively on topics such as early lung cancer screening and surgery, lung cancer surgery outcomes, and tracheal surgery.
