Daisy Young, D.O., is a California native who grew up in Los Angeles, California. She was inspired to follow in the footsteps of her father, who is also a physician. She received her medical degree from Touro University in Vallejo, California. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital where she was also chief resident. She completed fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Elmhurst, Queens. There she had the privilege of caring for patients of various ethnicities in a mostly underserved neighborhood. She is a member of multiple professional societies including the American Thoracic Society, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American College of Chest Physicians, among many. Dr. Young is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Echocardiography. She has particular interests in asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and interstitial lung disease. She is ecstatic to be joining the New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Pulmonary and Critical Care team, which has a strong mission towards serving the community of Brooklyn.

Rikhev Kashyap, DO is a sports medicine physician specializing in the non-operative management of a variety of musculoskeletal problems in pediatric and adult patients. As a former athlete, Dr. Kashyap appreciates the importance of keeping active even through pain or injury. He cares for patients of all ages and activity levels. Dr. Kashyap was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH, where he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati. He then moved to Chicago, IL where he completed his medical school training at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by Family Medicine residency at La Grange Memorial Hospital. Dr. Kashyap went on to complete a Fellowship program in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Rush University Medical Center. He has experience working with DePaul University (NCAA Division I), and several professional and semi-professional sports teams including the Chicago Bulls (NBA), Chicago Fire (MLS), Chicago White Sox (MLB), Chicago Steel (USHL) and Athletes Unlimited Softball. Dr. Kashyap also worked with performing arts athletes at the Joffrey Ballet and has covered mass events, having volunteered in the medical tents at the Chicago Marathon several times. Dr. Kashyap is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. His practice provides joint and musculoskeletal injection therapies, fracture care, concussion management, compartment pressure testing and sports physicals.
