Creedmoor Psychiatric Center

Creedmoor Psychiatric Center provides a variety of mental health services to adults who suffer from severe mental illness. The 19-ward, 470-bed center serves residents throughout the New York area and offers outpatients services via five off-site offices. It maintains departments in psychiatry, nursing, psychology, social work, medicine, rehabilitation, medicine and dentistry, pharmaceuticals, infection control, nutrition and occupational and recreational therapy. Creedmoor Psychiatric Center is situated on a 300-acre campus in Queens Village, N.Y., that includes more than 50 buildings. The campus is also home to more than 20 community agencies, including the New York State Office of Mental Retardation and Development Disabilities and the New York State Alcohol Treatment Center. Creedmoor Psychiatric Center offers its services regardless of religions, race, ethnicity or ability to pay.
