History

Born in New York City, Jonny grew up with the streets and people of New York as his inspiration. Working in the industry since 2007, Jonny has been beautifying women around the country. Being an artist for one of the worlds largest makeup companies. he has done make up for celebrities such as Hillary Duff, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sabi, and Macy Grey. He also is heavily involved with New York Fashion Week doing makeup for over five seasons for the worlds top designers. He uses the looks from the runways as inspiration for his growing clientele to keep them looking fresh and up to trend. In 2009 Jonny began teaching makeup at a studio in downtown brooklyn, facilitating workshops focused on airbrush art, fashion/runway, bridal, and T.V music video. While teaching he began working with numerous brides both in New York and in the vineyards of California. At Creating Faces NY I strive to keep my clients not only looking gorgeous but FEELING beautiful. This is why bridal, lash extensions, and airbrush makeup is my speciality. I believe in using minimal products that have maximum effects. This means I don't want to cover up your face with foundation, I want to enhance it. I firmly believe beautiful makeup is about creating a balance, focusing on some features of your face that need a little enhancing while complimenting the parts that don't. Airbrush makeup once was only for TV. With over seven years of airbrush experience I have developed a special technique in perfecting the skin without looking like you are wearing any makeup. This is great for brides or anyone going to an event as airbrush has a sixteen hour wear with little touch-ups! Lash extensions have been around for many years in Asia. Now that is has been made more accessible in the states I offer gorgeous mink and silk lashes that can either add a little depth to the eye or give you the dramatic lashes you have always wanted but naturally don't have.
