Crea NYC is a non-profit organization that was established in 2013 to cater to the educational needs of Spanish-speaking adult immigrants in New York City. With a primary focus on providing educational opportunities in their native language and helping them become proficient in English as a second language, Crea NYC now serves over 250 students from diverse Central and South American countries. They offer basic education courses in Spanish, English as a Second Language classes, and preparation for the TASC exam to obtain a high school equivalency diploma.
Additionally, Crea NYC provides leadership development, individual counseling, referrals to social services, and peer-to-peer support to empower and assist their students.
