History

Guest house opened in 1948 and was closed for several years, reopening in 1996. Patsy has lived in the home all her life.

Specialties

This Federal style guest house built in 1865 is located in the historic district of Hyde Park, close to the FDR Library & Home, Eleanor Roosevelt's Val-Kill, the F.W. Vanderbilt Mansion, Culinary Institute of America, and local colleges -- Vassar, Marist, Bard, and SUNY New Paltz. Patsy is a Hyde Park native and knew Eleanor Roosevelt. She has two nice guest rooms and is happy to share her local history with guests.
