Comsewogue Union Free School District

Comsewogue High School, located in Port Jefferson Station, N.Y., enrolls more than 1,000 students in grades nine through 12. The school is a part of the Comsewogue School District and provides advanced-placement courses. Its curriculum includes English, art, music, mathematics, language arts, science, social studies and foreign languages with a choice in French, Italian and Spanish. Additionally, the school provides courses in the United States history and government, geography, economics, psychology, architectural drawing and design, astronomy, photography, journalism, computer graphics, multimedia presentation and Web design. Comsewogue High School has a business department that provides various courses, such as accounting, financial management, advanced computer applications, business math and law. The school also organizes various extracurricular activities, such as band, orchestra, dance, choir and musical concerts. It additionally provides physical education and various sports activities, such as field hockey, basketball, football, soccer, gymnastics, cross country, swimming and tennis.
