Founded in 1982, the Community Dispute Resolution Center Program (CDRCP) provides court-approved alternative services to criminal prosecution, civil litigation and traditional avenues for resolving conflict. It serves more than 75,000 residents annually. The program services related to criminal complaint, vocational rehabilitation, early intervention and manufactured homes mediation. The Community Dispute Resolution Center Program also offers services for housing court mediation and lemon law arbitration. It is a part of New York Center for Interpersonal Development, which promotes the improvement of human relationships and strengthens the communities in New York. Founded in 1970, it provides youth, community and professional development programs, as well as and dispute resolution services related to effective communication, violence prevention and intercultural awareness. New York Center for Interpersonal Development is located in Staten Island, N.Y.
