History

We began growing in 2012 when our lots were acquired by the Farmer Pirates Cooperatives, which we are members of. We cultivated 1/4 acre of our 1 acre plot, added lots of compost and began the long journey of revitalizing the soil to grow nutritious veggies.

Specialties

Common Roots Urban Farm grows over 35 different vegetables along with some small fruits using organic, ecologically sustainable practices.
