Circle of Dance

Circle of Dance is a Long Island-based non-profit organization that has been bringing arts education programs to schools in Suffolk, Nassau, and Queens for over 30 years. As pioneers in the field of arts education, they integrate dance movement programs into the public education system, using movement as a means to teach essential language arts skills and promote character building values such as cooperation, tolerance, and self-confidence.

Through their programs, Experiencing Full Body Literacy Read it, Move it, Own it and Dance for All, Circle of Dance creates a noncompetitive environment where students can learn, create, and work together. Supported by various organizations and foundations, including the New York State Council on the Arts, Circle of Dance continues to unite students from diverse backgrounds through the universal language of dance.
