Cigdem Inan Akman, MD

Dr. Daniel Lowenstein is an assistant professor of neurology at CUIMC, in the Division of Child Neurology. Dr. Lowenstein completed his medical doctorate at Tel Aviv Universitys Sackler School of Medicine in Israel, followed by residency training at Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, and fellowship training in epilepsy at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is board certified in Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology. Dr. Lowenstein sees outpatient pediatric neurology patients, with a focus on pediatric epilepsy, and is also an attending in the pediatric epilepsy monitoring unit at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. Robert Fee, PhD is a lifespan neuropsychologist who specializes in the evaluation of cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning in children. Dr. Fee earned his undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University, Masters from Columbia University, and his doctorate from City University of New York with a specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology. He completed his internship training in lifespan neuropsychology including pediatrics, epilepsy, aging, movement disorders, stroke, and neurorehabilitation in the Department of Neurology at North Shore University Hospital as well as psychotherapy within the Department of Psychiatry at Zucker-Hillside Hospital (Northwell Health System). His postdoctoral training in Neuropsychology was completed at Columbia University Irving Medical Center within the Department of Neurology, Division of Cognitive Neuroscience and Division of Child Neurology, receiving advanced training in the assessment of individuals across the lifespan with various neurological disorders. His clinical activities focus on the assessment of children with neurodevelopmental disorders including intellectual disability, learning disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, motor disorders, language disorders, genetic disorders, as well as congenital and acquired brain injuries, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, neuro-oncology and other neurological conditions. He also provides psychotherapeutic consultation to children and families.

Jennifer Jones, AuD currently serves as Assistant Professor of Audiology at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Jones received her Masters of Science Degree from Hunter College and her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from the Osborne College of Audiology at Salus University. Prior to joining Columbia University Medical Center, Dr. Jones served as Senior Audiologist at The New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai for 12 years. Dr. Jones focused on providing hearing and balance services to both adult and pediatric patient populations. Dr. Joness clinical interests lie in audiological diagnostic testing, vestibular diagnostic testing, and adult amplification. Dr. Jones holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
