The Christman Sanctuary, located in Delanson Duanesburg, NY, is a 120-acre preserve known for its stunning 30-foot waterfall and beautiful plantations of locust, cedar, spruce, and pine. The site, acquired by The Nature Conservancy in 1970, is a Registered National Historic Landmark and is surrounded by lands that are also protected by the Conservancy and local land trusts.
Visitors to the sanctuary can explore approximately two miles of hiking trails, enjoy the peacefulness of the Bozenkill waterfall, and admire the unique layers of sandstone and shale found in the large pool at the foot of the waterfall. The sanctuary is open to the public and offers a serene escape into nature, providing a safe and accessible environment for all to enjoy.

The topography of this place is undulating but not too challenging, even for someone like me, a couch potato. A river runs through it. Along the way, there are some waterfalls of differing levels....
Note to self: September may not be the absolute best time to come here because of the very low flow. Still, there are plenty of things to like about this...once you find it. The falls seem to be...
Great hike! Will love to come back. There weren't a lot of water in the waterfall because it's late summer, but it was a great hike!
Good hiking trails, not steep. Nice spot near the creek to relax. As always keep an eye out for ticks.
