History

The Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum consists of a three-bay dry dock complex, several original site stone foundations, as well as three reconstructed historic buildings and a life-size walk-in Erie Canal Laker Boat model.

This is a great small historic site with a working blacksmith. Don't expect an entire historic district, but if you want to learn something about US history, this is a great way to spend a couple...

Wonderful place to learn the history of the Erie Canal! They have an informational video to get you started on the basics. Then, you can take a small tour through the main building where they hold...
