HistoryWe have been educating and enriching our students since 1993.SpecialtiesWe provide quality after-school and summer camp with a goal to enrich, engage, and nurture our students everyday they come in. We also offer piano lessons, group tutoring, Chinese lessons, and studio art to students. Our staff is diverse and we try to engage our students with other cultures as much as possible.

SpecialtiesLaurel Project is New York City's premiere Chinese enrichment program, drawing on years of experience with a proven pedagogical method--engage, inspire and absorb! We train children through two languages: Mandarin and the universal language of dance. Incorporating cultural tradition into linguistic learning, accomplished dancer, choreographer and educator Mei-Yin Ng teaches our children to move - learning to speak, sing, and dance Chinese. We offer Chinese dance and Mandarin language after-school programs at two locations: the Upper West Side and Park Slope, Brooklyn. During the summer, we offer a Chinese culture and language summer camp taking place both indoors and outdoors in the heart of Chinatown. Surrounded by colorful shops, markets and wonderful restaurants, our objective is to encourage students to learn in a creative and participatory environment and discover Mandarin Chinese as a vehicle for cultural self-expression.
