Down to Earth Farmers Markets manages various markets in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Westchester. They bring together local farmers and food/craft vendors using locally sourced ingredients. Their mission is to support small-scale agriculture and food production in the New York area, fostering vibrant marketplaces that enhance community connections and promote direct access to the local food system.
Each market offers a unique experience, such as the Brooklyn McGolrick Park Market, located centrally in Greenpoint, or the Park Slope Market near Washington Park. The markets aim to create a welcoming environment where attendees can connect with vendors and enjoy a diverse range of fresh produce and handcrafted goods.
With a focus on sustainability and community engagement, Down to Earth Farmers Markets provide a platform for local businesses to thrive while offering attendees a chance to support regional agriculture. Whether you're a regular visitor or a first-time shopper, these markets offer a delightful opportunity to explore and celebrate locally sourced products in a lively and inclusive setting.
