Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance
Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps (CVAC) has been dedicated to serving the New Castle community since 1936, providing emergency medical services to the residents of Chappaqua and Millwood. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, CVAC members have continued to deliver care to patients, including those with confirmed or suspected COVID, while ensuring the safety of their ambulance crews.
CVAC also offers free training programs to help individuals, such as new parents, babysitters, and teachers, prepare for medical emergencies. They provide resources on topics like carbon monoxide poisoning prevention, recognizing life-threatening bleeding, and CPR and first aid training. In case of emergencies, residents are advised to call 911.
