Dr. Chantel Strachan is a board-certified internal medicine physician and a headache specialist. She attended the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, a combined Bachelor of Science and doctorate program, and subsequently received her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. Dr. Strachan completed her residency in Primary Care Internal Medicine at The University of Connecticut, where she served as Chief Medical Resident. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Headache and Facial Pain at the Hartford Healthcare Headache Center. It was there she fostered a strong interest in headache medicine education and patient advocacy. She is expert in administering Botox injections for chronic migraine, as well as administration of nerve block and trigger point injections. Dr. Strachan is passionate about preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and wellness. She takes pride in empowering patients to take charge of their health. A native New Yorker, she is a self-proclaimed foodie, who enjoys trying different cultural foods. She also enjoys dancing, baking, DIY Projects, and spending time with family and friends.

Maria Garzon, M.D. is Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S) and the Director of the Division of Pediatric Dermatology at NYP Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. With a significant body of published research, leadership and teaching experience, Dr. Garzon is an internationally recognized leader in pediatric dermatology. She is a leading expert on the care of children and adolescents with vascular anomalies, particularly hemangiomas and vascular malformations. Dr. Garzon is the Founder and Co-Director of the NYP/Columbia University Irving Medical Center (NYP/CUIMC) Interdisciplinary Vascular Anomalies Group, a founding member and past President of the Hemangioma Investigator Group (HIG) and a founding member of the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA). She is a past President of both the Society for Pediatric Dermatology and the New York Dermatological Society. She was elected to the Academy of Clinical Excellence (ACE) at VP&S and named a Samberg Scholar at NYP Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. Dr. Garzon has authored numerous articles and book chapters and has lectured at many national and international meetings including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Pediatrics, Pediatric Academic Societies, World Congress of Pediatric Dermatology, National Institute of Health and International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies.
