Ceetay

History

Ceetay opened in May 2012 in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx. This section of the south Bronx has a tight-knit and rapidly growing community of young professionals, artists, and families, and Ceetay has tried to replicate that sense of community in its dining experience. Here you can get to know your neighbors over cocktails, order directly from the sushi chef, watch as your dinner is prepared in the open kitchen, and greet the owner and the staff as friends.

Specialties

Ceetay is an Asian fusion restaurant with sushi, noodles, and rice dishes. The most popular dishes include the tuna bruschetta - guacamole and spicy tuna on a crispy rice cracker - and the kawasaki roll - oven-baked crab topped with avocado, crunchy tempura flakes, and a sweet sauce.
