Cayuga Corner is a historical site located in Seneca Falls, NY, showcasing the rich heritage of the Cayuga Nation. The Cayuga Nation is a proud member of the Haudenosaunee, a collective of Native Nations in New York, including the Seneca, Onondaga, Oneida, Mohawk, and Tuscarora tribes.

The Cayuga people have inhabited the region surrounding Cayuga Lake for centuries, with archaeological evidence of their settlements found in various villages like Union Springs, Aurora, and Seneca Falls. The Cayuga Nation plays a significant role in the formation of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, uniting multiple tribes under the Great Law of Peace to promote harmony and cooperation.

Despite facing challenges like military attacks during the Revolutionary War and the unjust seizure of their land, the Cayuga Nation has persevered in reclaiming their heritage and sovereignty. Through their ongoing efforts, they continue to honor their ancestral traditions and preserve their cultural legacy for future generations to appreciate and learn from.
