United Helpers Canton Nursing Home is a more than 150-bed, residential health care facility offering various nursing and health and dementia care services. The nursing home offers private and semiprivate rooms and trained nurses. Its services include 24-hour nursing, physical therapy, and social, dietary, housekeeping and laundry services. It also has barbershops and beauty shops, and organizes various activity programs, such as trips, indoor and outdoor picnics, barbecues, ice cream socials, shopping trips, holiday celebrations and special events. It also provides church services. The nursing home also has lounges, resident and dining rooms; walking and gathering areas, and flower and vegetable gardens. Located in Canton, N.Y., the nursing home is owned and operated by United Helpers, a nonprofit organization located in New York, and founded in 1898.
