Established by Alfonso Funzy Albrizio and his wife Josephine, the store became an iconic fixture in the Village, attracting celebrity clients like Madonna, Jimi Hendrix, and Johnny Depp.

After Alfred Albrizio joined the family business in the 1980s, he introduced a new focus on sterling silver, further elevating the shop's reputation.
