Capital District Women's Employment & Resource Center (WERC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women in the New York State Capital Region by providing workforce development services. Since 1988, WERC has assisted over 10,000 women who have experienced a loss of income due to various circumstances, such as death, divorce, disability, or dislocation of a spouse.
