Most beef is under two years old. Butter meat is aged to perfection at 5-7 years, giving the fats time to mature and bring out flavors that cannot be found in your typical beef. Eat With Purpose: Butter meat cows produce over 80,000 pounds of milk, cheese, butter, and beef. That's a lot more than the mere 600 pounds of meat from a regular beef cow. Community: From the farmers, truck drivers, processing plants, retailers, and customers, together we can continue to build a strong agricultural community through butter meat.
