More Unity in Buffalo was founded in June of 1944. Our church was incorporated as Unity Center of Practical Christianity, which was amended in 1967 to Unity Church of Practical Christianity. We offer prayer services ( Sunday worship at 10 a.m. and Wednesday Noon Prayer service ), a Youth Education program for ages 5-11, prayer support from trained Chaplains, spiritual counseling, regular groups ( including A Course In Miracles and Emotional Freedom Techniques ), special events, concerts, an art gallery showcasing local and regional artists, opportunities to share creative expressions, community service ( including an active VOICE-Buffalo core team ), special services ( i.e. weddings, holy unions, memorial services, funerals, christenings ), great music, friends, fun and fellowship - and much more! We believe in the innate goodness of all people ( "original virtue" ) and that we all have a great untapped potential within us waiting to be called upon.
