History

I first offered to do Brunch & Budgets for my friends waaaay back in January 2012. This whole thing started off as a way to help my friends with their finances and I could have never, ever imagined that I would have the privilege to turn this into a business helping people with their financial lives. I dug up the old email and want to share the last paragraph of it because it's as true today as it was 6 years ago: I LOVE talking about this stuff, so if you hate talking about this stuff, hopefully I'll rub off on you, just a little. Or at least one of us in the room will be happy. Seriously though, I think we've all spent enough time getting screwed over by the financial system and part of the reason why I love to talk about this stuff is because, corny as it sounds, knowledge really is power, especially when it comes to money. It's not going to be easy, but I promise you, it's going to be worth it.

Whenever you're ready, we'll be here to help you figure out how to get there. -- We specialize in: budgeting and expense analysis, cash flow planning for small businesses, savings plans, debt management, student loans, salary negotiations, insurance planning, investment planning, estate planning (yes, you have one!). We are a fee only financial planning firm, which means we don't sell any products or take commissions or referral fees and only make money from giving unbiased advice. Most of our clients are: millennials, Gen X/Y, young professionals, small business owners, entrepreneurs, and freelancers. We am registered as an RIA in: New York, New Jersey, Texas, and California and work with clients virtually across the country.
