Brookville Center for Children's Services

Variety Child Learning Center, founded in 1966 and located in Syosset, N.Y., is a nonprofit center providing child development programs and special education services to young children and their families. It offers services to children with learning disabilities, autism, developmental disorders and behavior problems. The organization provides special education programs and services at no cost to families living in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens counties in New York. It also offers support services for families, and research and training of early childhood personnel. VCLC provides special programs and services on- and off-site. It offers programs in local nursery schools, child care centers and school districts. It additionally offers Sunday respite care, social skills training groups, cultural arts performances, and applied research and training for early childhood personnel.
