Bronx River Art Center

Bronx River Art Center was incorporated in 1987 as an independent, nonprofit, multi-arts organization dedicated to providing art and environmental programming for residents of the Bronx. It is a place where both emerging and established artists can create and exhibit their works. The center offers programs, such as exhibitions, classes, studio spaces and special events. It organizes music and dance performances, poetry readings, lectures and film screenings. Bronx River Art Centre runs after school art classes in the areas of painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, ceramics, digital media and special teen project studios. The 16,000-square-feet centre is located in Bronx, N.Y.
