Bronx Filmmakers Collective

The Bronx Filmmakers Collective (TBxF), established in 2012, is dedicated to fostering a vibrant film community in the Bronx by providing accessible education, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for filmmakers at all levels. Through dynamic workshops and collaborative initiatives, TBxF empowers emerging artists with foundational skills while offering established filmmakers the resources necessary to elevate their craft and amplify authentic Bronx narratives.

In partnership with the Bronx River Art Center and Bronx River Alliance, TBxF presents projects like The Bronx River Film Diaries, an experimental documentary workshop celebrating Earth Day 2025. This initiative invites local residents to explore their relationship with the Bronx River through personal and poetic filmmaking, aiming to promote environmental awareness and celebrate the river as a vital cultural and ecological resource.
