Brighton Town Hall

The Brighton Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that employs a staff of more than 60 full-time, trained sworn officers, civilians and volunteers. It is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies. The Brighton Police Department maintains a records division that manages and processes department reports, requests, firearm permits, registrations and records. It also operates an investigative service division that supervises and reviews various crime and incident reports, including assault, robbery, rape, burglary, murder, fraud and identity theft. Located in Rochester, N.Y., the Brighton Police Department also has patrol, animal control and identification divisions.
